Craps in Macau

Last update: June 9, 2008

Macau saw its first craps game in early August, 2007, at the Lisboa. The single table is located in the new casino, on the north side of Ave. de Lisboa. The game offers 2x odds. The minimum of line bets if $HK50. The field bet pays 2 to 1 on both the 2 and the 12. While I was there, the table was very crowded. Unless more tables are added, I would suggest playing during off-hours.

I have had a reports of other casinos adding craps since I left. Here are properties I have unconfirmed reports of adding craps.

  • Grand Waldo: Number of tables unknown, odds unknown.

  • Venetian: Number of tables unknown. 3-4-5x odds.

My advice for playing craps anywhere is to make only line bets (pass, don't pass, come, don't come) and back them up with the full odds. You can as many come or don't come bets as you like, in any amount you like. The mixed house edge between the pass or come, with full odds, is 0.61%, and on the don't pass or don't come, laying full odds, is 0.46%. If you must make other bets, just don't bet anything in the middle of the table, such as the hard ways, hop bets, seven, eleven, and any craps.
